Are there workshops available for booking during this COVID-19 outbreak?

Due to the increase in heightened measures implemented, we have decided to postpone all booked workshops and cancel all future workshops for now. We take the health and safety for our participants very seriously and we do not wish to put anyone at risk during this tumultuous period. We will monitor the situation very closely and will open workshop bookings again once we have confidence that it is safe to hold them. Please do contact us directly if you have any further questions or concerns, we would love to hear from you.

Do I need prior experience in taking up the mini pottery workshops?

No, you do not need any prior experience because our workshops are designed to be enjoyed by everyone, novice and experienced alike! All our workshops begin with a 15 minutes demonstration that introduces the basics and foundation you need to get started on your first mini pot.

Can the workshops be held at a location of my preference?

Our Nomad Potters service allows us to carry out our workshops at any location you stipulate. We have held our workshops and corporate events at various locations such as Abbott Singapore at Tuas South, WeWork Cityhouse, Naiise Iconic at Jewel Changi, Artbox 2019 and many others. Your chosen location would need to have electrical outlets and access to water. There will be an additional one time charge for return transportation and delivery of finished products. We would also require a confirmed participant count of 6 pax.

How long does it take for my workshop's finished pieces to be ready?

All pieces made during workshops or classes will only be ready for mailing or collection 4 weeks after the commencement of workshop. Our team will contact you once your parcel is all packed up!

Do you sell your own handmade ceramics or allow commissioned works?

Yes, the shop portion will be coming up on the website soon. In the meantime, you can drop by any of our pop-ups at art markets to check out our works! If you would like to have a commissioned work, do drop us a message for your specifications!

Workshop Cancellation Policies

If cancellation requests are received 2 weeks or more before your workshop, 100% of the total class fees will be refunded to you. If cancellation requests are received less than 2 weeks before the workshop, 50% of the total class fees will be refunded to you. If cancellation request are received 6 days or less before the workshop, 100% of the total class fees will be forfeited.

Studio Policies

Terra & Ember Studio will handle and treat your handmade items like our own babies but do take note that the studio and its staff would not be held responsible for damages or loss incurred to your ceramic pieces during the handling and firing. It is understood that the firing is dependent on the integrity of the clay during the workshop, hence the end products after firing may not meet expectations. By agreeing to participate in this workshop, the studio will not be held responsible for any loss of personal belongings or injuries sustained in the duration of the session.
