Terra & Ember's Wheel Throwing Course II is the second installment to the course curriculum that seeks to further explore the relationship between the potter and clay. Similar to the structure of our introductory course, this intermediate course aims to blend wheel throwing and decorative techniques to expand the repertoire of the potter to better visualize their ideas. This course is suitable for those who have already taken a introductory wheel throwing course with us or at another studio and would like to hone their techniques and enhance their repertoire further.
In summary, students will be able to learn how to make larger functional pots, flatwares and decorative vases. They would also be introduced to decorative techniques to add visual and textural interests to their pieces.
An engaging and creative-driven 5 weeks for beginner potters to scale up their throwing and take their first steps into the decorative world of pottery. Head over here to check out what is included in the full package!
