Handbuild & Paint Your fur Friend's favourite new bowl
A Pets’ Day Out at Terra & Ember Studio where Fur meets Clay!
Bring your furry companions and join us for a fun day in the studio where we will be learning how to handbuild and paint a bowl for your fur friend! This experience will allow you to build and customize a food or water ceramic bowl for your pet while strengthening your bond and creating precious memories together! It is also a great chance for your pet to make new furry friends!
Workshop Type A: Handbuilding + Painting (2 days)
Day 1: Basic handbuilding techniques such as pinching, coiling and slab building will be taught for you to create your pet bowl. Your pets are encouraged to participate in the making of their ceramic paw/claw print pop-up.
Day 2: You will be returning to the studio to paint and decorate your pet bowl after drying it for a minimum of 7 days. Pets are not required to return. (You will be selecting your painting date at the end of the handbuilding session on day 1)
Workshop Type B: Painting Only (1 day)
For pet-lovers who are unable to come back for a 2nd session or would prefer a ready-made piece by the studio, this workshop type is more suitable for you!
On your workshop day, you will select either our small or large sized pet bowl bisque ware to paint and decorate using our wide selection of coloured glazes. Your pets are encouraged to participate in the making of a coloured paw/claw print to be imprinted on the bisque ware. Not to worry, our glazes are safe to be applied on your fur friends!
Each session is limited to 8 fur families only so don’t miss out on this paw-some experience!
Workshop Description
- 2 hours session (approx.)
- All fur/feather/scales pets are welcome!
- Water and newspaper provided
- Includes the making or painting of 1 pet bowl
- Finished works will take 8 weeks from painting date
- Aprons will be provided to protect from clay splatters (you are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing)
- Please ensure your nails are cut short for ease of movement
- Class will commence right on the stipulated timing, late comers may miss the demonstration
- Rescheduling of booked spots is chargeable at $10/pax and subject to availability
- Delivery/shipping of the finished works is not included.
To Note
Pets are not required to be leashed or in carriers during the workshop but it is up to the owners’ discretion if they should choose to restrain their pets for personal or safety reasons. Terra & Ember Studios will not be held responsible in any shape or form for any animal/human disputes that may occur during the sessions. Participants are to knowingly sign up for this workshop at their own risk.
